Change bill

Hi, I have tried contacting via the chat box function & calling but have been cut off from the chat box function and the number I have been calling just gives numbers to press and then it cuts you off so I am unable to speak to someone so hoping I get a response from this. Is there any way I can change my bill date to the 31st of July , I am struggling this month and I am worried I may not beable to pay the bill on the 24th and I work from home so I really need access to the internet. it would also help if going forward I can change my bill date to the last date of every month . Thanks

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with paying your bill. We wouldn't be able to change the billing date if there is an outstanding balance on there currently so this would need to be paid before hand. 

In terms of changing the due date for the current bill, this isn't something that can be done via the Community I'm afraid. You'll need to speak to the team on 150 / 0345 454 1111 and they will be able to pop you through to the Collections team who can then assess your account to see if they can do a 'promise to pay' to avoid any restrictions.

Hi,

thank you for responding.

I have managed to speak to one of your team who advised it is too late to change the direct debit date however if I am unable to pay on the 24th I can just make the full payment on the 31st either via telephone or online and have been assured that my services won’t be cut off.

I think you are already sensing there is a possibility of entering a load of grief with this issue - fingers crossed that all goes smoothly - an update as when known would be of interest - good luck with it.
