Cancelling within 14 days

I’m less than 14 days into my contract and phoned Virgin to cancel but I’ve just been told I need to pay for a minimum of 30 days?? This can’t be right. 

any advice appreciated.

We're sorry for any conflicting information received.

You don't need to provide 30 days notice if you're within your right to cancel period.

May we ask why you want to leave?

We'd be happy to assist here with any issues.
