I've had an email to upgrade my Internet speed to 1g with first 3 mths free but if I'm reading it right you have to sign a new 18 mth contract. The problem with that is last time I did this I lost part of the package I was on even tho they told me that wouldn't happen ie I lost my movie 4k and TNT sports which I eventually got back with a lot of hassle. So is there anyway of upgrading without losing any part of my package or is it best leaving this alone.

Thanks for coming back to us RD54. Are you referring to the new contract or your current contract? TNT sports will not be removed from your current contract, you will keep that till the end of the current contract but if you renew the same TV package (Maxit TV) TNT will no longer be included but you can add it as an add-on.

Hey there @RD54 Thanks for reaching out to us on here 👋🏽
Sorry to hear about the troubles you've had with renewal.
Some add-ons like TNT Sports are no longer included within our package.
The change came last year, it is now an add-on with a subscription to the channel.
Kind regards,
Ilyas.

So what your saying if I take the upgrade I will lose Tnt sports.

Thanks for the reply @RD54
If you do or don't take the upgrade, TNT Sports will be removed eventually as it's been taken off the Maxit package as an inclusive and is no longer part of any basic TV bundle.
Have you checked your renewals discounts to see what offers could be made for TNT Sports to be included?
Kind regards,
Ilyas.

I thought I'd signed a contract that covered me for the duration of that contract for all the services I signed up for.

Yes that's how I read it so not a deal for me, it would help if it was explained at the outset instead of wrapping it up in a deal were I would lose one or more of my services in my contract I'm signed up to at the moment so I'll be staying on the contract I'm signed up to now.
