I had a direct debit taken, unfortunately it didn’t go through due to an issue on my side. Before it showed on my bill as being sent back to my bank, I paid the full amount of my bill with a one off payment. Now it is asking me to pay the bill so what happened to the one off payment I made?

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.
Sorry to hear about the issues with your failed direct debit payment.
As you've paid the full amount it can take upto 24 hours to reflect online.
Once the payment shows as paid online, it would be best to set the direct debit back up for future payments.
This can be done by going to our MYVM App here Choose the option for bills and underneath that would be the option to set up a direct debit again.
