I have been trying to find a way to report that my parents land line is dead and has been since a power cut at the weekend. They are both in their nineties (or nearly there) and they use a land line rather than a mobile for most communications so would rather get it sorted. Online is no help as it says test everything and I have to a point. I suspect its a fault as this happened last time there was a power cut and it was out for days. Everything says ring from the phone but how can you when its dead ! Rang the number from my mobile but eventually get to a point where they want a password and my dad says he has never set up anything so now where do we go ?
