Hi Richard,
Apologies for the message out of the blue on this topic, but I've just joined Virgin and have been banging my head agianst a brick wall trying to work out how to use my IP phones with the Virgin Media landline set-up and saw your post describing your set-up, which I think solves my challenge.
I have a Hub 4.0 with Tel1 port (RJ11) on the back (and a BT phone ATA, provided by VM), but my Yealink IP phones connect through a Yealing base station that acts as a SIP endpoint and requires a ethernet (RJ45) connection. When I connect that to any of the LAN ports, it obviously doesn't pick up the line.
Similar to your initial question on the thread, I was hoping to get SIP details from VM to configure the base station, but nobody at VM seems to be able to help.
Are you saying that by creating a FreePBX account and using the Grandstream HT813 you are able to use your IP phones to connect & use the Virgin Media landline?
Any advice or direction you can provide on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Lacosap
