Can anyone help me. I can't access my @virgin.net email address any more. Just blocked me out over a week ago It is an old email address with no security questions just an account number & area code. No one at VM can apparently even access the account to reinstate it.

Hi Vikki, the account isn't linked to any current active broadband account with you. The error message DEF01 comes up. Also that it can't reset the password as there are no additional details set up on the account. When I phoned in as advised no one could help me regain access to the e-mail address.

Unfortunately your email address has been closed by VM.
Under the terms it was originally issued, it should have been closed 90 days after your broadband account was closed. Due to the sloppy way these things have been left, VM have recently been catching up and closing them.
Hopefully you will have kept backups of any important data.
