Dear Community and Virgin Technical Team
I no longer have access to my @virgin.net email account and cannot reset the password. I appreciate all the points made elsewhere in this community about orphan accounts and no longer being a virgin customer and realise I should have done something sooner. Can I get access again to my account to make arrangements for the data transfer, or is this no longer possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey LouiseDickson, thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear about this.
However once an email has been deleted we can't get this back.
Once it has been deleted this is for good and we have no way of letting you access it back sorry.

Hi Louise I have the same issue as I can't reset my password as I signed up with the email account I was using before I moved to Virgin. Now I can't access my Virgin Media account. V frustrating as I am desperate to access my emails. Did you get a where with your question as the response you got seemed unhelpful. Thanks. LadyLo

Hi Matt,
Thank you for replying. However, please can you confirm, have you checked the status of my account? You seem to assume it has been deleted. Do you know this is its status?

Hi LadyLo, you are right, it was very unhelpful. I have asked for clarity. Hopefully this will follow.

You can try a check yourself. Go to the link below
https://verifalia.com/validate-email
and enter your email address to test
If you get a response which includes
Classification: Undeliverable (with a red square next to it) and Status code: MailboxDoesNotExist
then the mailbox has most likely been deleted. If you get a response which includes
Classification: Deliverable (with a green square next to it) and Status code: Success
then the mailbox has not been fully deleted yet.
If your mailbox has only just been deleted (which appears to be the case from your posts on other topics) it may be possible to reactivate it for you to rescue information. Unfortunately this seems to be at the discretion of the VM forum staff as to whether they offer that or not.
This topic may be helpful if you can gain access and just want to archive the mailbox

Hello LouiseDickinson,
Thanks for your post. Sorry to hear you've lost access to your .net account.
I'm happy to take a look and see if we can get you access again, however I may need to warn you it might not be possible but it's worth a try.
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security first.
If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.
