I have been locked out of my email without warning.
I am redirected to a page with the heading -
Your Virgin Media Mail account is currently unavailable
I have followed the 3 steps and provided a 3rd party email (gmail). I received a verification email to the gmail address and I clicked on the link but was redirected back to the VM sign in page.
I have also been locked out of the email app on my phone that links to my VM email address.
I have reviewed the instructions on some of the forums but I'm unable to resolve the issue.
Please help!!

There is a number of us having similar issues and we've been without our Blueyonder email for a week now. As it is our main email account, we hope Virgin can resolve it soon.

Have you specifically tried following the steps listed under the sub-heading of "Setting your app password to use an Email app"?

It is apparently due to a security check that has just been recently added by virgin.

I have tried this using my googlemail account but this has not worked. When I retry, the following message appears:
You've recently requested to change the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media. Please check your emails and verify this change before making further account changes.
I have already verified the email but I seem to be stuck in a vicious loop!!!

I have got as far as attempting to reset the password of the email account, which is the way of getting the account unlocked, assuming it has been locked for security reasons. Unfortunately the correct answer to the security question (what is your mother's maiden name) is not recognised. Its as if someone or something has corrupted it. So, cannot reset the password, so cannot unlock the account. I seem to have run out of options. What will you suggest now? (at least a partial refund of our regular bill, I suggest)
