Why do I have hundreds of unread emails today - even in my sent/draft folders??

My email account was fine up to yesterday - then I went into it this evening and found loads of unread emails, even emails marked spam have re-appeared or ones from last year are marked unread. Has something troubled with VM's spam filter or something similar??

Hey myss, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this, have you made any changes to your email recently?

Have you synced them to no time frame? 

What devices are these showing on, is a it phone, laptop etc?

Thank you for your reply. I've no changes at all to my email. I did go through the emails as I had over a thousand unread right back up to 2018! Some of them were emails I had deleted, some were same copies of emails/drafts/sent items. No idea why. It's not recurred yesterday.

Sorry I should have added that it was showing on my laptop, it's the only way I log into this email. And hasn't reoccurred today either.

Thanks for coming back to us myss, that sounds weird that you would get the emails back, this could be related to an email issue that we had over the weekend and start of this week. 

Its good that this hasn't happened again but sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, I was deleting a similar amount of emails a few weeks ago and it can feel like its never ending. Please let us know if you have any further issues.
