Unable to password reset email

I've had a secondary account set up for email ( since 2016 and I need to password reset it as I'm getting the 'your virgin media mail account is currently unavailable' message.

The online system isn't letting me. I've tried resetting my main virginmedia account password and also tried to do a password recovery on the secondary account (email) - but it says my recovery question is wrong (it's not :). The secondary account is still showing up correctly in "Manage other My Virgin Media accounts" page but the only option I have there is Delete.

I don't suppose anyone has thoughts on how to proceed? Thank you for any ideas.

Sorry to see you're having issues with resetting the password for one of your emails. Just to double check, is this email address linked to an active Virgin Media account? If not emails are usually deleted up to 90 days after the account, sometimes, they can be left open for longer but are eventually deleted.
