My folks are giving up their Virgin media account after 30+ years (originally cabletel, NTL, etc.). I have an NTL World email address I have used since I lived with my parents. It is linked to a number of online accounts and I don't want to lose it. You have 90 days after disconnection and then it is deleted!
I moved out about 20 years ago and have my own Virgin media account - how can I move my NTL World email address to this Virgin Media account?
X (twitter) support gave the standard computer says no response. Seeing as I am a 20 year loyal customer I'm sure technical support can help in this matter?

Unfortunately for you the computer is correct in this case.
The only circumstances where email accounts can be moved from one account to another are when both accounts are in the same customer name.
You should use the next 90 days to inform your contacts of your new email address and make sure you backup your emails to offline storage.
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media, I'm a VM customer. There are no guarantees that my advice will work. Please read the FAQs

Do you think there is there any workaround, like I am added to their VM account before it closes or I add one of my folks to my VM account?

VM are playing hardball on this. They are not making exceptions.

Virgin media are appalling in every respect. This forum is a merry go round of excuses. Computer says no. Bye bye goes my loyalty
