You will need to get to the bottom of this one.

Change your email password and ensure you have 2FA on everything that offers it.

Better to keep all your posts to one single thread, than post across multiple ones.

As mentioned above - change your password on both the email account in question and all websites on which you use that email for login.

Enabling 2FA wherever possible, is something else worth considering. If you use this email address for any banking purposes, then reporting the potential access to them is a wise idea too.

The password change should be sufficient to lock any unauthorised third parties out, and ensure only you have access.

As others have said, you need to secure your email address which means logging in, checking who is logged in, then kicking off anyone who shouldn't be there. Next, immediately change your password and enable multi factor authentication.

Hi @LolHare1 👋

Welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post.

Sorry to hear your email address has been hacked.

Have you managed to secure the mailbox by resetting the password?

Is it linked to an active broadband account?

There's some scams whereby they quote a previously-used password (often obtained via data breaches) in the hope a) You still use it, and b) You swallow the threat. I've received numerous examples of the same threatening email I suspect you're referring to.

Refer to the previous advice in this thread, to secure the account and be confident only you have access to it.
