Just to clarify one thing, you will need to supply a non VM email address but It does not mean that your VM emails will be re-directed to that non VM email account.
However, it will mean that non VM address will become the username that you need to enter instead of your secondary VM email address when you sign into that VM email account.
To make that change you will need to access the My Virgin Media Account for that secondary email account.
Here's how to do that:
- Sign into the My Virgin Media Account for that email account by entering the secondary VM email address and then its current password here https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media
- Then click on Account Settings
- Then click on My Virginmedia Account details
- Scroll down to Sign In details
- Scroll down and click on "edit" to the right of password.
Then follow the instructions, verify the non VM email account and you can then reset the password for that webmail account and its My Virgin Media account.
To access either the VM email account or its My Virgin Media Account in future you will need to use the non VM email address as the username along with the new password you have just reset.
