I have a problem with repeat spam. The sender varies and I always add the sender to the blockllist. The problem is that the email always shows the recipient to be fredschoor@ziggo.nl and not myself! What is going on?
How has VM email been circumvented and how do I put a stop to it please?

i have the same problem getting about 6 emails a day showing the recipient to be the same fredschoor@ziggo.nl
Evidently the spammers are using this address as a blind copy i have put the address in the blocked list does not stop it. i have looked up lots of stuff on this.I have contacted acml.nl which is a site in holland to report this yesterday will have to see what happens. another suggestion was don't open the emails up just delete them.
I did also try to put a rule in if there is any mention in the email of fredschoor@ziggo.nl to just delete it. Again have to wait to see what happens.. Perhaps somebody on Virgin media can help. wil update you
I am getting fed up with them used to get a few its know out of hand

Thank you Albi1 for this input. I used to just delete them but like with you it has now got out of hand. Here is hoping that a VM specialist will come in to assist

Consider creating the following Filter Rule in webmail:
NB flag colour is set to help identify messages moved to Spam folder by this rule

Look forward to learning about your outcome, Albi. I have had 2 fred messages today , one offering a coffee maker and the other a mystery box.
I have now set the rule but I could not find the coloured flag that was referred to. Can you help please?
