Outlook stopped collecting emails - again !!

So much for it will be fixed by ......

emailed started being collected in Outlook a few days ago but it has stopped working 2-3 days ago.

One step forward and 2 backwards.

ok trying out Thunderbird which has multitude of problems.... to start off I want to tidy up mailbox and delete some unused folders....so I get problems doing that in Thunderbird and also when I try via a browser logged in to the mailbox, any ideas?

Turning Outlook offline and back online seems to fix the issue....but do I have to do that every day ?

Welcome back to the community forums

Sorry to hear that you were having issues with your emails via outlook, glad to hear that you've found a work around now by logging in and out. 

After you have logged out and in again, do your emails work as normal, or do you keep having to do this throughout the day to see your new emails?

Hi....not working again....tried offline and connected again but this time email is not being collected. Seems very unpredictable.......anything else I can try from my side?

It's a shame to hear that the issue has returned. Are you having any issues accessing your emails and using the email service via the webmail platform on our website, or is it only via Outlook that you encounter some problems?

I only use Outlook but have resorted to webmail. Outlook is connected and not fetching emails. Sometimes it starts to work when I take outlook off line and then connect again. Bizarrly yesterday when I marked about 20 emails as "read" in outlook it started fetching emails...then it stopped again. Outlook before all these changes never had a problem since I installed Office 2021. Did off line  and online again just now.....this is what I see on the webmail. There is no personal info in the picture so safe to post.

Are you able to download the Outlook app on another device to test if it still has the same issue?

Not able to use outlook elsewhere atm.   If I update a few folders manually it starts to work. So I do update folder on a subfolder it starts to work.
