Norton 360 & Virgin Media email

On our wavelength

I have just installed Norton 360 on my laptop. However when I switch on the VPN I am unable to receive or send any emails. I just get a red pop up saying 'Server Unreachable'.

I have had a look on Norton's help page but I haven't been able to find a resolution.

Is this a known problem or does anyone know how I can easily resolve the issue.

At the moment I'm turning the VPN off permanently just so my emails work.

Does the issue persist if you Manually change the geographic location in Norton VPN?

Hi mikethesaint,

Thank you for your post. We're sorry to hear about the issue you're having.

To confirm, without the VPN is there any issue?

To confirm, there are no issues in receiving or sending my emails with the VPN turned off.

I

I have changed the setting to Ireland and my email seems to work okay. I'll leave the VPN switched on to that location and see if everything continues to work.

Thanks for the suggestion.

It is part of Norton Security package. I assumed it helped to hide my location.
