    Hi james1947

Sorry but the Personal Picks are now obsolete. If you want the additional Entertainement and Documentary channels you need to change to the Maxit (Mega) channel package.

The following was posted by forum staff a few days ago <here>

'Although Personal Pick's used to be an option and may still be in place on some legacy packages, it isn't something we offer at this time. Any customer with these who changes packages will lose these at some point.'

If you want TNT Sports then that's been a standalone addon since September 2023 and is now an additional £18 per month on a rolling 30 day contract.

      Hi again james1947

There isn't a TNT package. TNT Sports (TNT Sports 1,2,3,4 and TNT Sports Ultimate) is a stand alone addon available on VM which is £18 per month.

I think you are getting confused with Discovery Plus (not available on VM) which is a streaming service. The streaming package with TNT Sports is priced at £30.99 per month  It comprises the following :- Discovery Channel, TLC, Quest, Really, Animal Planet, Quest Red, HGTV, Food Network, DMAX, ID, Discovery Science, Discovery Turbo, Discovery History, Motortrend, Magnolia Network, Eurosport 1 & 2, TNT Sports 1, 2, 3, 4 and TNT Sports Ultimate

EDIT There  are a couple of other tiers (again not available on VM) See the  /radiotimes article

      Hi again james1947

Virgin don't have the Discovery Plus app, instead on Virgin you can add the TNT Sports channels for an additional £18 per month.

If you want any of the other Discovery channels on Virgin then the basic channels  DMAX, Food Network, HGTV, Quest, Quest Red, Really are available on VM's Mixit tier TV

The following Discovery Channels are available on VM's Maxit tier TV:-  Animal Planet, Discovery, Discovery History, Discovery Science, Discovery Turbo, DMAX, Eurosport1, Eurosport2, Food Network, HGTV, ID, Quest, Quest Red, Really, and TLC

Virgin doesn't have Motortrend or the Magnolia Network which are exclusive to the Discovery Plus app.

  • No James, not with Virgin.

The £30 is for Discovery+ (a standalone app) the option for £18 is for TNT Sports only.

If you wanted the extra channels including Discovery Channel, it's my understanding that those are included in certain packages (such as Maxit).
