Locked out of my virgin.net email without warning and cannot reset password - help!

On Thursday I used my virgin.net email account to send a couple of emails and as soon as I had done so I was locked out with a message saying 'Your Virgin media mail account is currently unavailable' The advice listed below was to unlock it by creating a new password from the Sign In option . Unfortunately I cannot get past the Sign in step to do so as it keeps reverting to the 'Unavailable' message.

I do still have a virgin media account for my broadband and a virgin.media email but I urgently need to get into the virgin.net account which is the one I use the most.

Can anyone please advise what I should do?

If that email address is still linked to your broadband account you should be able to connect to it by following the current procedure listed here:

https://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadband/manage-email-account

Thank you for your answer however I still cannot get into either of my virgin.net or virgin.media.com emails. I think that the .net email is linked to my virgin media account but am now not convinced.

I fear I have since mucked things up further whilst trying to change the sign ins. I am going around in circles. Is it possible that someone could help me reset it please? I will then transfer all of my virgin.net emails over to the virgin media account

Hi jpeg1 - are you able to help me further please? The link you sent just takes me through to the same 'Your account is locked message' and I cannot proceed further. It is quite urgent as I have a number of bookings etc. Can you reset it for me please? Many thanks

If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.
