I have an old blueyonder email address I’d like deleted / deactivated. We left VM over three years ago but we are still receiving (and can send) emails on this address. Unfortunately it appears that someone may have gained access to this address, so would be good to put it beyond use.

Sorry to hear about your email being accessed.
We do delete email accounts 90 days after a customer has left us, However a few may tend to slip the net and remain active.
It's an easy fix from here though. I just need to send you a private message to take some details.
Then we can raise this with our IT support team and get the email removed.
Normally it takes around 7-10 days, but it will be a lot quicker than that.
If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.
