Hi , it should be clear to you now that many users are having issues regarding receiving emails. They are either arriving slow from minutes to hours & with so many users complaining it is obvious the incoming mail is from many different domains. For me personally sending mail is not an issue as there have been no problems with users receiving email from me so can you please escalate this to get sorted asap.

Hi Carley_S,

Thanks for your responce.

Please know I am NOT a tech savvy person, and having just lost my mum, receiving email at this hugely difficult and upsetting time for me and my family,is critical.

But please know.

1. Sending emails,is 100% fine.

2. Receiving emails right now, is extremely unreliable, patchy and totally random. With so many people reporting the self same problem with incoming emails, there is obviously a problem at VM's end.

"Can you PLEASE escalate this problem, and to return our incoming email service to its rightful status, because at the moment there is plainly an issue with a lot of peoples incoming emails?"

Thank you.

Same problem here emails over the past 2 or 3 days have been arriving late & a lot of 2fa and order confirmations are not arriving at all!

Oh dear, it gets worse. An email with a large attachment was sent to me on Thursday and I received it 3 minutes later.  Fantastic!  Except that I've just received it again this morning - same sent date/time, but received 4 days later.

I thought it was just me.

Lots of emails over (probably) the last week have been delayed - various lengths of delay. I don't know if there are some that haven't been delivered at all.

I am using an NTLWORLD account - not sure if all the issues we're seeing is only affecting NTLWORLD accounts or not.

Hi @thechief

Welcome back to our community forums and sorry to hear that your issue with delayed emails is still ongoing. We can understand the inconvenience caused. Is this the only mailbox you are having issues with? Does this occur across different browsers and devices? Do you have a delay in the sent email folder too?

This isn't fixed for me. Some emails seem to arrive quickly but others aren't (including, annoyingly, 2FA emails from some sites - they expire). This is to my NTLWORLD account. I work for a very large global IT provider and how this issue has dragged on for so long is beyond me - my clients wouldn't stand for it.

Hello thecheif,

We understand the frustration in regards to the email issues, we were advised by the team working on this it was resolved yesterday evening. Let us know if this is the case for yourself?

I am having email problems. Emails arriving multiple times. Send an email. Doesn't appear in Sent box. Doesn't arrive. Send another. Previous email then arrives. This is sending between our different email accounts. This issue has been going on for a couple of weeks

Are you experiencing this on the Virgin Media Webmail service or on a third party email app /client such as Microsoft Outlook or a Mail app?

The reason I ask that is to help clarify where in the process the delay is happening.

I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media.
