Deleting all email addresses after closing VM account

Hi, I changed my ISP on 16 November 2024 to another after over 25 years with VM (as Ntlworld prior to that) mainly due to cost and the lack of interest in offering what others were/are. I have tried to delete both my Primary and secondary emails but with no success. How do I contact VM directly to request that this can be done?

From their website, you just keep going round in circles and getting absolutely nowhere! 

I have transferred all my existing emails to my new ISP and informed all my contacts of the new email account while at the same time forwarding continuing emails as well (most of which are spam). Whilst I can send any remaining VM emails straight to spam, it still means I have to periodically check to make sure that there are none there that are not spam.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@kmulhall You should be able to delete the secondary email accounts via the primary My Virgin Media account.  Under account settings there should be a section headed Manage other my virgin media accounts.  The delete option is within that section.

You can't delete the primary account yourself.  This should automatically be deleted 90 days after your broadband contract ceased.  If it persists after then the VM Forum Team staff should be able to assist with getting it deleted.

I have done that and it now shows them not there, but when I send a test email to them from my new email it still forwards them to my new one. So obviously, something isn't right.

@kmulhall in that case the Forum Team staff will be able to investigate for you.  They should respond to this thread in a day or so
