Hello - I've just recived an email saying you are closing down the email address i've had for around 25 years!
I am currently a VM business customer - (I can give you the account number if required)
Also as a business a big mobile phone customer of your 02/Virginmedia partnership.
Is it possible to be put in touch with someone to keep my email account?

VM is on a mission to close down these legacy accounts. If you have a glance through the (many) recent topics about this, the only people with an option to save the mailbox are those with a VM residential broadband account (and even then that appears to be at the expense of any existing email addresses associated with the account).
VM's previous approach was just to delete the mailbox with no warning and deal with any issues if the user complained enough. Something (unknown) has prompted them to now give this 30 day warning.
If you need to backup the mailbox, this past topic may help
A VM forum person will reply here in due course (usually a few days) to give you an official VM reply.

This forum is for VM's residential customers. AFAIK the VM forum team on here does not have access to any account info for VM Business.

Hello - Yes I appreciate the distinction, I guess i was just hoping that as a customer of Virgin, just as my business there would be some flexability. I completely get that this is an personal email address - its just one ive had since 1997 and so quite a task swapping all my old accounts to use a new one. Over the years i've had virgin and probably still would have home virgin but they dont current service my current address
