Cannot access email

Well - here's a new one.

Last Friday my secondary account on Virgin went dead.  No mail either way and all I get is "The entered credentials or authentication information does not work or is no longer accepted by provider. Please change them".

Now, my primary mail - @virginmedia.com works fine, my secondary @virginmedia.com has no traffic.  There are no bounces from other accounts when sending mail.

What is going on please?
