I use a Blueyonder email and today I’ve had my Netflix and Vinted accounts’ passwords changed. Looks like this email address has been hacked. In my virgin media this email no longer shows and it’s only a gmail that is there which I also use occasionally.
Is there a way to change this Blueyonder email password or do I need to close it down? If it has been compromised what can I do?

@Mbeth51 Have you previously changed the username for the blueyonder email address to a Gmail address? VM know require a third party email address to be set as the username.
Once you have made the change it is the third party email address that appears in the My Virgin Media account rather than the underlying blueyonder email address. You should still be able to change the password if you can access the My Virgin media account concerned. A verification code will be sent to the third party email address to confirm the change.

no I haven’t changed anything on the Blueyonder. It doesn’t even appear in my additional email accounts on my virgin account

Have you been able to go through the forgotten password route on the E-Mail account at all to make a change to the password at all?

No. I have changed my email address to my gmail but when I go into virgin media mail accounts it says that currently there isn’t one available or it may have been locked etc? I have no clue how to get into the blueyonder email to change a password or do anything g with it?

Hi I am having the same issue but I need my blueyonder account closed immediately. Could you please message me so I can sort as it’s causing me a lot of issues.
