Blocked incoming emails list

I have tried to block an incoming email address but receive a message from Virgin that my blocked list is full and I need to remove some blocked addresses to make room. How to I view my blocked list to be able to edit it?

  • Sign into the webmail account of your VM email account.
  • Click on the cog symbol (settings icon) top right of the main email screen
  • Then click on Email in the left hand menu list
  • From the resulting menu click on Blocklist

That will list all the addresses you have blocked and allows you to select the ones you wish to delete.

Bear in mind though that the VM blocklist function has two weaknesses:

  1. It does not work well with spam or scam emails because spammers/scammers regularly change their sender email address precisely to get around email blocklists.
  2. VM's "Blocklist" does not actually block emails at all! All it does is to flag any matching incoming emails as spam. So the "blocked" emails still arrive in your email account but appear in the spam folder rather than the inbox.
