after my phone contract was migrated to O2 I have no longer been able to log in to my Virgin Media emails. My phone was signed out of my Blueyonder account sometime during november. I am concerned I will lose access to the account entirely, and have important accounts linked to this address.
When I try to log in or reset my password it tells me to enter the email I usually use to sign in, which I am, but the response suggests my email doesnt exists.

Changing your phone account won't affect the status of your email account. Changes to your broadband account certainly will. Can you still log into your broadband account and to webmail with a browser?

No im trying to access via browser, when trying to log in it suggests the email is incorrect or invalid

Is that when logging in to your broadband account as well?

@JanMWood Can you confirm that you have a Virgin Media broadband account and that the problem email address is associated with it.
You cannot continue to use a blueyonder email address without an associated VM broadband account.
As jpeg has mentioned the switch of VM mobile accounts to O2 has no bearing on email access.

I have not had a broadband account with VM for the past 5 years. My email account has been active until the previously mentioned dates of this year, which coincidentally matches with the same time frame as other users are facing since the O2 switch

@JanMWood Sadly this means that your blueyonder email address is an orphaned account. It should have been closed down 90 days after you ceased to be a VM broadband customer. You can read more about this here: https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Email/Orphan-Email-accounts/td-p/3492073
A member of the VM Forum Team staff should respond here tomorrow but it is highly unlikely that they will be able to do anything to restore temporary access to the email account for you.
I hope that you have been regularly backing up your emails to an offline resource so that you can still access previous emails.
