I have had a Virgin.net email address for many years.
I was using it this morning then i was suddenly locked out. I got an error message to say that my account has been locked and that I need to re-set my password.
When I try to log in I am unable to go to the sign in section to re-set the password.
I still haven't got access to my emails.
I don't have a Media account - I don't pay for any Virgin services, I just have a Virgin.net email address.
I tried phoning to resolve this but I have been advised that as I don't have a Virgin Media account, this can't be fixed.
Can anyone help please?

If you are not a VM broadband customer then, unfortunately, VM has almost certainly started to delete your account.
VM has been engaged in a clear-up operation for some time now deleting the legacy email accounts of non-VM email users.
You are unlikely to get a VM reply here in 'Community Natter' but may do in the 'Email' forum. A moderator or VIP may move the topic over for you.
