TNT Sports

I received an email explaining that Eurosport was ending, as a regular viewer of it Virgin would allow me to add TNT sports to my package and Virgin would cover the cost till the end of my contract . But today I had a new email showing my new payment, which is £18 higher, plus the next payment would include extra to cover the remainder of this month.

Has anyone else had this?

    We're sorry to hear of the impact the removal of Eurosport has had on yourself, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this via the forums.

     

    The channel provider has chosen to stop broadcasting Eurosport one and Eurosport two in the UK from 28th February. This means the channels will no longer be available, however Virgin TV customers can continue to enjoy Eurosport content via a TNT Sports subscription. 

     

    Your bill will not change directly as a result of the channel closure. While the channels will no longer be available, Eurosport content will still be accessible via TNT Sports should you wish to subscribe.

     

    Virgin TV customers can access Eurosport content by subscribing to TNT Sports, which is included in selected Virgin Media packages or can be added for £18 per month. You can get in touch with us directly if you would like to discuss subscribing to TNT Sports and we will be happy to help, or you can subscribe via your Virgin TV box.

    Who sent you the email to advise we would cover TNT for free until the end of your contract? As you can see from the above, this isn't the case usually.

      The email came from Virgin media....there are multiple posts about this but no clear indication about how to actually claim this.

      Gareth - I had the same email with TNT free until my contract ends, however there is no upgrade for this on my virgin V6 box, just a 360 upgrade. Please can you let me know how I can take up this offer. Thanks
