Hi Pablo2000
Looking at the picture showing the program from the Gold channel, the problem is that the 'Top Picks' rail is superimposed over the actual TV picture.
Does this happen on all channels, or just on Gold?
Does this only occur when you've just turned on the set top box, and then disappear when you change channels, or when it's been on a while?
Have you tried switching the Stream box off at the mains for a minute or two rather than just rebooting the box?
Have you tried either removing and then reinserting the HDMI cable, or a different HDMI cable/port?
You could try performing a soft reset and/or a hard reset.
Unplug the USB from the back of the box and then hold the power button on the front of the box while plugging the USB back in. (Keep hold of the power button while doing this)
Keep holding the power button in when the Welcome screen appears for 5 seconds and then let go.
A menu will appear. Now tap the power button to select which reset option (hard or soft) you prefer. I would try the soft reset option first, and if that fails try the hard reset.
Then hold the power button again for 5 seconds on the one selected option to reset it.
Hopefully the box will then reboot without the 'Top Picks' rail being superimposed over the actual TV picture
The method below is for the 360 box which runs the same Horizon operating system as the Stream Box, just in case you have a 360 box as the reset function is different. (a number of people post in the wrong forum)
To factory reset go to Settings (the cog at the end of the Home menu) > System > Factory Reset. It's actually misnamed and only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset. You are given 2 options
Keep Recordings
Format Disk
Choose Keep Recordings, that means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up. You will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again. Also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.
