Pluto TV always buffering

Added the Pluto tv channel to my channel list (guess this just saves time locating the app and loading it) anyway, since I have had this stream box Pluto tv still frequently buffers during playback on any of it's channels. I am connected via ethernet, Live TV and no other streaming app/catchup channel i.e youtube, iplayer, amazon prime etc does this (very occasionally live TV will buffer). However, the Pluto tv app seems to have improved down the line as it used to regularly freeze altogether and you couldn't get back to the home screen which required a box restart.

Clearly there is nothing wrong with the connection.

Any ideas virgin?

    I'm sorry to hear there are some issues with the buffering and playback on Pluto TV. I'm going to send you a private message, as after some checks on our end, there is potentially a cause for this.

    Samenor similar issues. 
    Tivo wasnokay 360 is a backward step. 
    Will be leaving at end of our contract

    no live chat out of hours no live chat service. 
    part way through films and freezes

    frequent sound loss intermittent too

    prices go up service gets worse
