Nightmare ordering additional Flex box
Today tried to order another Flex box, I’m in an XPON area, firstly on WhatsApp, got put through to 4 different people, first person said I could only order an extra 360 box, did I want to go ahead, the total cost will be £150, that was from £45 a rise of £105, I asked where’s that cost come from, he replied, he couldn’t offer a better price, I said I’m in an XPON area I can’t have a 360 box, the chat went quiet, he then put me through to retentions, still couldn’t get anywhere,
told me to ring, 0800 064 3840, was on the phone for 15 mins, likewise couldn’t order one, they then put me through to retentions, still got nowhere,
I then had a thought so rang 0345 454 1111 they initially couldn’t do anything, then I said can you put me through to the department that cover Hub 5x, that’s where I got things moving, after about another 45mins, I got one ordered, cost £66 a month which isn’t bad but he was having issues with their system, couldn’t apply my deal, which is 500mbps plus Mega tv, I was downgrading from 1 gig, to cut the cost down, he said the best idea is for me to connect the box when it arrives it will send a signal to them & this will activate my deal, we’ll see, he said he will ring me on Friday to see how I’m doing, we’ll see.
why is it so hard to order one, a lot of the VM CS staff have never heard of having extra stream boxes, they just kept reiterating “you can only have 360 extra boxes not stream”
