Connection Problem CS9005

Hi, 

 

I recently had VM installed in house mainly for internet but have the tv package as well. Have not really used tv but when I tried to watch today connection proble CS9005 has come up giving me options for Network setup / Diagnostics. I cannot use any option as remote does not work i.e. when I try to select Network Setup buttons on remote are not working.

 

Any Ideas!

    Hi andrewwalsh​ 

    I suggest changing the batteries in the remote before you do anything else since you can't select the Settings options.  If that fails I suggest trying to pair the remote again by holding down the 'Live TV'  button (the one on the right hand side directly below the red power/standby button) and '0' button together for around 10/15 seconds. The Standby button should then start to flash followed by an onscreen message displaying 'Pairing successful..."

    If possible try to connect using an ethernet cable for a stronger signal, the ethernet port is included in the power adapter for the Stream box.

      Hi andrewwalsh 

      Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sorry to hear of this. How is the Stream Box connected to the Hub, via Ethernet cable or WiFi? If it's WiFi, are you able to try an Ethernet connection at all?

      You can do a quick diagnostic on your Stream box by heading to Settings, then Network and picking Diagnostics
