Batteries on remote

The batteries only last a very short time with this remote is this common or an issue with it also the screen looks very dark even with TV setting’s adjusted

    Hi Hix, 

    Thanks for posting on our Community Forums, sorry you feel the remote runs out of battery quickly and that the screen is darker than it should be. 

    Can we ask what brand of batteries you're using please? Also, how long would you say they need replacing?

    As for the TV, do you have any other devices connected to the TV like a console or DVD Player? If yes, is there a difference in the screen brightness when you switch to them?
