Valorant Ping increase + Packetloss

I'm having some issues with my connection when playing Valorant on EU servers and I've ran a tracecert using their guide but a lot of the requests time out.

I have 350MB download speed, using the Hub 5 in modem mode and connected via Ethernet.

I've just enabled the connection monitor but strangely the tracecert completes if I select another Valorant region.

In the last couple of days my valorant ping has upped from a steady 20 to an inconsistent 40-50 ping, I have never had this issue before and from other forums and posts here I can see people who are having the same issue and have been told by riot this is an ISP issue and that they should be contacted, I have done every quick fix I could think to do on my end and am unsure how to fix this.

Over the last couple of days I have notice an increase in my valorant ping for context I normally play on 15-20 ping and very rarely lag but I have been getting 50+ ping to London servers and lower ping to Paris and Frankfurt. I don't get why this would be the case as I live in York, UK. I've tried restarting my router a bunch of times and changing channels and about every other suggestion out there but nothing has helpped to resolve this issue. 

I have recently have seen a DRASTIC change in my ping. I usually have around 20 / 25 ping towards London servers, I am from Manchester however recently my ping has spiked to 40 / 60, how has my ping got that much worse? It says I am closer to Paris and Frankfurt than I am to London, maybe I have moved country without my knowledge or something. I have tried resetting my router, changing wifi bands, channels and nothing has helped or fixed the issue. I see other people complaining about this issue on twitter so I know I am not alone and it's not a personal issues. 

I normally get like 10-15 ping on valorant and now im getting like 40-50. Even paris and frankfurt servers have lower ping then london and I live in london! On top of that I get some packet loss, which cause me to either teleport or lag in game. A few days ago this issue did not happen so it just started recently.

I also live in London, and for a few days I have been having the same problem, my ping has increased by 20ms on all EU servers, the strange thing is that now I have a better ping on Frankfurt than in London.

My ping on Valorant is back to normal.

How has it been over the last few days have you seen an improvement? 

Looking at that traceroute, the big ping junp is after the packet leaves Virgin & arrives at the Level-3 core.  It's not an issue inside VM I'm afraid.

Also remeber most gaming traffic is small UDP packets to & from the server.  Ping time is not a good measurement because ICMP is generally lower priority that small UDP in core routers across the internet !!
