Hi there NoGGy
Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the forums, it's great to have you here.
I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your service, we have split your post so that we can look into your issue individually.
Can I ask what exactly is happening with your connection? Are you experiencing issues on WiFi or wired connections?

Don't ask. Nothing you guys are willing to do or can do. I have been through complaints, your service desk, spoken to people on here, but all i get is "no dates for this problem"
1) The mobile app does not work with the Hub5x
2) Have an issue with packet loss and bufferbloat with the Hub5x
3) No Modem mode, you guys won't simply add this feature for some strange reason.
There are many others, but i gurantee if you speak to your Hub5x team they won't give any meaningful answers to those questions.- Matthew_MLForum Team
I am sorry to hear this.
But we would love to help however without getting the full understanding we cannot offer our assistance.
Has there been an improvement at all?

Its been said modem mode works on 1Gb port

Hi Legacy, can you provide me a bit more info? I don't have a physical way of selecting Modem Mode in the options menu. I went to the "hidden menu" and it is there, but doesn't work if enabled, obviously its hidden for that reason. I tried did the usual gubbins with setting up another router via the 10GB port and 1GB port, but that causes double NAT which I don't want.

Its the top 1Gb port you need to use you may have to power off the hub foe a bit to allow a MAC change
Its possible VM might set a MAC range for hub 5x so test with a PC to the hub in modem mode first change MAC to some thing in the range of your hub MAC
