Re: Hub 5 and PlayStation Portal problems

Hi Everyone.

i have a hub5 and two booster pods around the house. My portal is constantly connecting and disconnecting and im wondering if it’s because the pods are switching between 2.5 and 5ghz all the time. Ive heard that port forwarding might help but don’t know how to do it, for example do I enter the details of my ps5 or my portal into the hub web page? I’d really appreciate it if someone could give me some help, and if port forwarding is a good idea, to please give me a step by step guide.
my ps5 is connected by an Ethernet cable and my speed is 1gig by the way.

Router Port Forwarding    Have a read at this website, should help you.

However it will not stop a Wifi device from jumping from one band to another.

Forget Port Forwarding and focus on getting rid of all of the Wi-Fi elements from your connectivity.

Just get a better wifi router with 1Gb ports and use hub in modem mode no port forwarding needed
