PS5 not connecting to Hub5

Had virgin installed today and been trying to no avail to get my PlayStation connected to the internet. I’ve so far managed to get the TV and firestick setup with ease but the PlayStation is refusing to connect.

ive been scouring the internet as this seems to be a common complaint but logging into the admin hub to check the MAC filter and a lot of the other fixes don’t seem to be working 

live managed to get it to “connect” a couple of times but without internet but the speeds have been absolutely terrible (15kbps) before it completely fails again. I’m hoping there’s an easy fix I’m just missing as I’m really close to just cancelling and changing provider

    Is the Hub 5 placed further away from the previous ISP's Router ?
    Did the previous ISP connection come with multiple Wi-Fi Repeaters ?

    The correct fix for a PS5 is to use a network cable,
    Wi-Fi Repeaters or VM Pods will add latency & jitter.
