Worried account compromised

Hi VM

I had had an email.account with VM for years and it has suddenly vanished. I can get into my account with one registered email but this old one is now missing. Please help. I am worried I have been hacked!

    You have to be a current VM broadband customer to be able to continue using VM email.

    VM has been deleting mailboxes which are not associated with a current VM broadband account

    Some people, who are VM broadband customers, have found that their mailboxes have disappeared because their email address has become 'orphaned' from their broadband account. In particular this has affected virgin.net mailboxes (as well as other VM legacy domains).

    Do any of the above circumstances maybe explain your situation?

    In order for us to help here, we'd firstly need to know if you are a current Virgin Media customer or if you've no longer got an account as this is crucial to if we can support further.

    Still not fixed..spoken to a person who was passing to technical team and would follow up by calling me. 

    Nothing.

        Steven_L we have not resolved my issue. your colleague has said my account cannot be recovered. I am devastated and have lots of documents missing on email that I have had for 15+ years. Please help.

    There is a lesson here, not to trust storage of important data on an online data server.  I suggest you take an offline backup of any important information from your other email account while you still can.
