windows email wont work with virgin
i am using the new windows 11 email app and its asking for a password to setup my virgin email in windows new email app
i cant get on with instructions as i have a brain injury and need some help please

VM now requires you to use an app password if you want to set up an email program on a device.
The way to do that is on this page below in the section 'How to set an app password to use an email app'

You need to use the server settings on the same page in the section 'How to connect your Virgin Media email address to another email app' when you set up the email program on Windows 11.
When the email program asks for login details you use your VM email address and the app password to set up the email program.
VM's email setup has become increasingly complicated and explaining what to do on here can become very convoluted and confusing. It will inevitably involve having to follow some detailed instructions.
To begin with, are you able to access your email from VM webmail? That would possibly be easier than trying to set up and configure an email client program.
If you can gain access from webmail to begin with, can you then get someone to help you with the setup of the Win 11 email app, such as a trusted friend, family member or neighbour or possibly a local computer tech to do the setup for you?
