The domain virginmedia.co.uk belongs to them, so anything@ virginmedia.co.uk is theirs. But if you received this address in a message you will need to check that it hasn't been linked to somewhere else.

If it's a hot link, a right click should show where it is actually going to.

Got an email called "Streaming how you pay your bill" and never seen that VM address before from a mailshot, looking at the headers and the links it seems to go to VM.

No need to pursue this thanks Vikki.
The only thing that threw me was the vmteam@ as i've never seen a virgin media email with that name before but searching the forum there are people on here that have received emails such as their contracts from vmteam@ so it's no problem, also the header source comes from Virgin and all the email links go direct to virgin, there are no re-directs.
