why do virginmedia email addresses reject mail?

When I send emails from a hotmail address to a group using bcc, I get this response from group members whose email address is xx.xx@virginmedia.com

The emails are usually text only but on occasion can have a link included.  They are rejected in every circumstance.

Using bcc is the correct thing to do when sending group information so I am at a loss as to the reason for this.

cmgw gave this error:
MXIN602 Message contains Spam Content ;id=2xLor4PfB5WMO2xLorhDp3;sid=2xLor4PfB5WMO;mta=mx10-prd-nl1-vmo;dt=2023-11-14T18:37:24+01:00;ipsrc=40.92.112.84;

    Do you populate the To field when Bcc? If not try doing so to see if the issue persists.

    VM do NOT have any customer facing email addresses.

      I think they are moving to not having them but I still have one as do at least 3 other people that I know of.

    Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear you've been having trouble sending emails to some of our customers. To clarify, some of our customers do have email addresses provided by us.

    Sometimes, when sending emails to large groups our mail servers may identify the emails as spam and reject them. Have you tried sending emails to the recipients individually to see if the emails still fail to send?

      Hi Beth

      Thank you for responding.  Yes, they go fine when I send with the VM email address in the To line.  It's when it's in the BCC line they get rejected.  Is there a way of fixing this?

      Generally, there isn't anything in the To field but I will try that when I next have to send a group email

        Okay please do let us know.

        So its just group emails this is happening and when this does happen which emails are you finding the most that don't send/

        is it Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo servers etc? Cheers
