why do virginmedia email addresses reject mail?

When I send emails from a hotmail address to a group using bcc, I get this response from group members whose email address is xx.xx@virginmedia.com The emails are usually text only but on occasion c...

    Do you populate the To field when Bcc? If not try doing so to see if the issue persists.

VM do NOT have any customer facing email addresses.

    I think they are moving to not having them but I still have one as do at least 3 other people that I know of.
