Virgin.net email address to be closed incorrectly

Hi,

I have just received an Email saying that my old Virgin.net Email will be closed in 30 days as you no longer have Virgin Media services. Last year there was a similar problem, and I was told that it had been linked to my current VM account. We are currently out of contract but still paying for VM services.

How do I sort this out as it is our main email.

  • I wouldn't bother phoning. I did that yesterday and was told that 'we didn't send the email' and to delete it and take no action. Clearly that advice is wrong and will result in loss of the address. Based on a day or so researching this it seems that your virgin.net account is not associated with your virginmedia account so you need to take another route.
