virgin.net email address - no longer exists

Hi, i have had my virgin.net email along with ntlworld.com email for years, but today my virgin.net email apparently no longer exists? Can anyone help, there's a lot of history and linked account I'd like to retrieve or re link if possible?

Thanks in advance,

Andy T

Are you still a paying VM customer with a Broadband account?  If not the mailbox may have been purged

And that’s good, but have you always been a paying VM, (or NTL or Virgin) customer ever since you set up the address? Have you moved house since then?

Now the reason I ask is that email addresses are tied to VM accounts, and if you move (or leave and later rejoin), this can break and be regarded by VM’s systems as ‘orphaned’. As an orphaned email address it is susceptible to being deleted at any point.

Yeh, been a customer since way back when ntl, still got an active ntlworld.com address

When did you get your Virgin.net account though?  Your NTL may be active, but if there was a break on the Virgin.net it could well be orphaned or purged.  Anyway, hopefully a VM Mod will pick this up and discuss with you.

        Hi there,

We're sorry to hear you've lost access to your email account.

We'll need to check if that email account was connected to a current active broadband account with us before we can advise if this can be restored.

I'll send you a private message now, please look out for the envelope in the top right of the page and pop back to me when you can.
