Unable to login to email via any internet browser both on PC & mobile

I haven't been able to log into my email since april 5th this year. I keep getting a password error when I try. So I wanted to reset my password because it seems like I wasn't getting it right. But when I enter in MY email I use for the account I'm trying to get the password from, It flat out rejects it claiming that it's not correct. I know that to be false because I can log in & out of my email using my phone's default email app.

    Do you have a Virgin Media broadband account and if so is tha  Ntlworld email account linked to it?

    The reason I ask is that VM email accounts only come as part of VM's broadband account package. The terms and conditions of VM broadband say that all email accounts linked to a broadband account will be closed 90 days after the broadband account is ended.

    It appears that losing access to the webmail account on the VM website is the first step in that deletion process but the mailbox itself often remains accessible via email apps and clients. That appears to be what you are seeing at the moment but sadly the mailbox itself will also disappear in time.

    In the past VM often left old email accounts open for years. However, they stopped issuing new email accounts a couple of years ago and since then they seem to be having a purge on them.

    If you don't have a VM broadband account you need to set up a new email account with one of the many free email providers. VM staff will not be able to regain full access to your VM account.

    If you do have a VM broadband account one of the Forum Team (VM  staff who support this forum) can check out what is going on with your account. They will contact you via this forum in the next day or so.
