Unable to access email using Outlook

Unable to send or receive messages for the fish (@ntlworld) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

Presume this is linked to the absolute debacle (**bleep**-show) yesterday when I had to jump thru' multiple hoops to sign-up for a 'VMO2 ID' and was also forced to implement 2FA

Any ideas how to resolve the fact my pop3 password has been changed on me without any input from my side...
