Shutting down my NTLworld email address

PLEASE CAN ONE OF THE FORUM TEAM HELP ME?

I had to leave Virgin Media in May 2024 after being a loyal customer for many years. I moved to an area without Virgin (sob) so had to suffer the pain of changing my email address (sob, sob, sob....).

I had been with Virgin so long that my email address was an NTL address! 

When I closed the account I was assured that my email would stop working after 90 days, however, here we are, some 600 days later and it still works! I don't want it any more and I want to permanently delete it......

HOW CAN I GET THIS TO HAPPEN?

      I have the same issue and my ntlworld account has been hacked so urgently needs to be closed to prevent fraud. Please can you help
