replying to a message will not send

I have an ongoing conversation and I have just tried to reply and the email doesn't send, the system reports

"Message could not be sent to the following recipients: ["[removed] (554 - 554 5.2.0 SMTP602 Message contains Spam Content ;

this is happening using my Win 11 mail program and from the VM webmail, logged into the VM email website.

Any suggestions

    That means that VM's outgoing spam filter has identified something in the email that you are replying to as being suspicious. It could well be a URL link in that original message which the spam filter has flagged as being suspicious.

    As a workaround you could try sending the reply but without the original email attached.

    By the way,I have flagged your post to the Forum Moderators and asked them to redact the email address of your correspondent, Sadly, posting their email address on an open forum may well result in their address being picked up by spammers. As a result that email address may well start getting lots of spam emails.

  • thanks for the pointer, I hadn't thought about the email address as it the email address on their website so hadn't considered it private.

      No problem. To be honest I only mentioned it future reference.

      A "contact@" email address is clearly not a personal address.
