Old Email Hacked can't log in to change password

My old Virginmedia email has been hacked. I dont have access to this on my computer anymore but still have access on my phone. I can't change the password anymore. It is sending loads of spam emails demanding money from people mainly in France. I have no way of closing it down. Is there any way I can get this closed from here. Don't want people paying money to these people.
